How conversion works
Mediamorphy runs a build of FFmpeg compiled to WebAssembly that executes directly in your browser tab. When you choose a file, it is read into your browser's memory, processed on your own device, and the result is offered back to you as a download. At no point does your file — or any part of it — travel across the network to us or to anyone else.
No accounts, no file storage
We do not offer or require user accounts. We do not ask for your name, email, or any personal detail to use the converter. We do not keep copies of your input files or your converted output.
What is collected
Because the site is a hosted web page, some standard data is involved:
- Hosting logs. Our hosting and content-delivery provider, Cloudflare, automatically processes standard request information (such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps) to deliver the page and protect the service against abuse. This is ordinary web-server logging and is not linked to any identity.
- Advertising. Mediamorphy is free and will be supported by ads served through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads and, where permitted, personalize them.
Advertising cookies & your choices
Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this site. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can review how Google uses information from sites that use its services at Google's partner-sites policy and learn more about Google's advertising practices in the Google Ads & privacy notice.
You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info/choices.
Visitors in the EU/EEA and the UK. Advertising is not yet active on this site, so no advertising cookies are currently set. When advertising launches, consent for non-essential advertising cookies will be requested where legally required — such as under the GDPR and the ePrivacy rules — through a Google-certified consent management platform, and you will be able to withdraw that consent at any time. Where consent is not given, any ads shown will be non-personalized. This section will be updated to describe the live consent experience once advertising is enabled.
Children
Mediamorphy is a general-purpose tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
